25 days of giveaways: eatsmart precision pro digital kitchen scale

December 2nd, 2011

For Day 2 of our “25 Days Of Giveaways” at Gimme Some Oven, I’m excited to introduce you to perhaps the one scale in life that you will absolutely love — a “Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale” from EatSmart!

I have owned this exact kitchen scale for the past few years, and absolutely love it!  I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first about whether or not I would actually use a kitchen scale, and if it would take up valuable space in the kitchen.  But once I saw how small and lightweight it was, and how super-simple it is to use, I was hooked.  Mine has been a fantastic help in cooking and baking…especiallybaking bread!!  It is also amazingly accurate, especially when measuring exact ingredients and helping with calorie counting.  Such a great tool.

So read below for details on how to enter.  And continue to check back each day this month for more festive foodie giveaways!

I would like one because it would make portioning ingredients out much easier. Converting recipes that use metric units is too much math for me :)

This would be soo useful! I am diabetic and we should be weighing our food for greater accuracy in counting carbohydrates. Since our kitchen scale broke, we have been using a postal scale but it is not quite the same thing.

I used to work in a fine dining restaurant kitchen where we had to measure everything out. I would love to add this to my supplies so I can crank out some of those delish dishes for my hubby!
